David Dix

It is with deep regret and great sadness that the Board and Management of ARG advise that Mr David Dix passed away on 1st February 2016.

David was a founding investor and Director of ARG and was highly committed to its long term success. While recovering from heart complications in May 2015 he remained actively engaged in key business developments and was beginning to resume normal duties towards the end of 2015. His passing came as a great shock.

David had a career that spanned over 35 years; including as a Corporate Advisor at both Macquarie Bank Limited and UBS AG where he specialised in the mining industry in both Australia and overseas and more recently as a Director of a number of public companies including Troy Resources and Aquarius Platinum.

David brought great strategic and commercial capacity, conviction, vitality and wit to all he engaged with. He will be greatly missed.
